FIRE AND WATER INFINITY HOUSE
Fire and Water Infinity House
2500 sf plus 400 sf cabana | 1 bedroom | 1 bathroom | 2 half baths
This project entailed a major renovation/updating of a typical c.1960s PNW waterfront cabin and detached cabana in order to create a relaxed contemporary seashore dwelling with natural and expanded light with a connection to the outdoors. Our design features new lighting throughout, a new addition Entry Atrium, a custom 48”x100” hinge pin Sapele Entry Door, 10 slabs of white marble for counter tops inside and out, a hearth and mantle with 5 vein matched waterfall ends/details, new stone cladding and tile throughout, custom walnut casework, walls and box beams, floating wood shelves and vanity tops, a new dining pergola and benches clad in Kebony with shingled siding and white trim to match the neighboring residence. We also converted the existing daylight basement to a Home Theater Media Room with 150” screen and a 4K laser projector.
Careful consideration was given to enhance the overall color palette with the materials selected to compliment and blend with the PNW sky and shoreline. We also added 2) exterior tray fireplaces, 1) 6’ linear fireplace and 1) wood burning masonry fireplace to the afore mentioned areas along with large wall openings with lift and slide doors.
